The Naturgy Foundation is a non-profit institution that was founded in 1992 by Naturgy and targets its activity at the promotion of information, training and increased social awareness on improving energy efficiency and technological innovation in the field of energy while respecting and protecting the environment. It also promotes cultural activities through its Gas Museum aimed at preserving and spreading knowledge about the historical and cultural heritage of the sector while carrying out an export support programme aimed at small- and medium-sized enterprises.

The presence of Naturgy in Europe, Latin America and the Maghreb has always given the foundation an open and international approach to the issues it tackles. Its activities are carried out in Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Morocco, Italy, Moldova and South Africa.

Gas Museum

The Naturgy Foundation Gas Museum aims to preserve, conserve and disseminate the historical heritage of the gas and electricity sectors, as well as explore the future of energies and their interaction with the environment.

Historical Archives

The Naturgy Foundation has one of Spain’s most important historical company archives, with a documentary collection specialised in the energy sector that is capable of telling the country’s economic history. With origins that date back to documentation from the beginning of the 19th century, the Historical Archive has a specialised collection of over 3,000 metres of catalogued shelves, an example of the company’s sensitivity to preserving the historical memory of the energy sector..
